SCOPE

Under an information exchange program for students and young researchers by AESJ and KNS, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Student Seminars were held at Korea Maritime University, Busan, Korea in 2006, at the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan in 2008, at KAIST, Korea in 2010, at Beppu International Convention Center, Beppu, Japan in 2012, at Dream Center, Gyeongju, Korea in 2014, at Nara Kasugano International Forum IRAKA, Nara, Japan in 2016, and at Pusan National University, Busan, Korea in 2018, respectively. The 8th student seminar will be held in Phoenix Seagaia Resort, Miyazaki, Japan on October 28-30, 2022. The seminar provides a playground for learning, information exchange, and human networking. We welcome the researchers and engineers in the next generation. The students attending the seminar have an opportunity to learn the most advanced and up-to-date information about nuclear thermal-hydraulics, as well as the privilege to expand the human network through seminar activities.

Accomodation during the seminar (2 nights) are included in the registration fee. The room will be assigned by the local organizing committee.

ORAL PRESENTATION

All students and young researchers are requested to make a presentation (12 minutes including Q&A session) during the oral sessions. It is noted that the studies are not necessarily completed, and can be currently in progress. There would be awards for excellent presentations.

REGISTRATION FEE

JPY 15,000 (including fees for accommodation during this joint seimnar, seminar banquet and technical tour)

The registration fee should be paid on-site by cash (JPY only) in the first day of the seminar. A receipt will be issued for your payment. Korean participants should exchange KRW to JPY in airport since there is no money-exchange shop near the seminar place.
